Connect WebFiling to GOV.UK One Login
Companies House moved WebFiling access to GOV.UK One Login from 13 October 2025. Existing users are prompted to sign in or create One Login and connect the old WebFiling account.
Use an email address you control and can retain for the role. Follow the official process if the old WebFiling and Companies House accounts use different emails.
Authorise a company
A company authentication code is needed to confirm online filing authority. Add only companies you are authorised to act for and verify the company number before submitting data.
If the code is lost or compromised, request a replacement through the official service. It is generally sent to the registered office, so address records and mail handling matter.
Prepare and submit a filing
Collect the approved accounts, confirmation-statement details or company changes before starting. Check names, dates, share information, registered-office details and authorisation against the underlying records.
Save the submission receipt and accepted document. A draft or payment screen is not evidence that Companies House accepted the filing.
