How this location directory works
City pages prioritise consumer-facing commercial and state banks rather than filling the results with foreign wholesale offices.
Each location record is intended to carry a physical address, coordinates, service scope, official locator, accessibility notes, last verified date and an open, moved, merged or closed status.
Individual addresses should only be published when they can be checked against a bank or Bank of Thailand source. An official locator remains the live source because a branch can close between directory reviews.

Official branch sources
Use the Bank of Thailand's commercial-bank branch directory as an independent starting point, then re-check the bank's own locator or contact centre.
The regulator's list can establish that a branch record exists; the bank is better placed to confirm today's hours and functions.
When reporting a correction, include the bank, branch name, old and new details, the date observed and an official source where possible. A moved branch should keep its history rather than silently becoming a different location.

Why not publish every branch address immediately?
Unverified addresses create wasted journeys and age badly.
The directory starts with a complete bank inventory and useful city planning, then adds individual locations only when an official source, service scope and verification date can be recorded.
Can every high-street branch open a foreigner's account?
No. Some locations are limited counters or do not have the staff or product capability for a foreign-national application.
